Yve Degrande (°1982) has been an attorney since 2007. He practices in all aspects of human resources law. He has gained an exceptional experience in the different domains of individual and collective employment law, as well as in social security law. He assists both employers and employees, but also self-employed persons and company directors with advisory services or in (appeal) court proceedings. He is very often called upon to support employers during mass lay-offs and company closures. He also has a great body of expertise in handling social conflicts and litigation. Yve has been the co-author of a reference work on the dismissal of protected employees, published by Intersentia editions. Yve has a law degree from the University of Gent (2007 – cum laude) after studying at the University of Sorbonne (Paris). He also holds an undergraduate degree in social work from the Artevelde Hogeschool (2003 – cum laude). His working languages are Dutch, French and English. Prior to 2015, Yve practiced as an attorney, solely in cases in the area of labour relations law, in the international firm Linklaters. In 2015, he founded Degrande Advocaten.
